Our mission
“Credo” is a Latin word which means “I believe.” At Credo Family Medicine, faith is at the heart of our mission, and we are proud to treat all patients with the dignity that they deserve as children of God. Our faith guides our actions and informs the medical care we provide to our patients. As such, we are able to provide comprehensive care that is not only medically appropriate but ethically sound. Patients can trust us to not only offer the most up-to-date care, but to advise them appropriately with respect to the dignity of life when confronted with challenging bioethical situations.
Our ethics
Being a practice that values not only excellent medical care but one that insists on reliable ethical advice, we choose neither to provide nor to participate in any medical services which are contrary to the dignity of the human person or detrimental to the health of the patient’s body or soul. As such, services and referrals that we will not provide include: abortion, contraception, sterilization, in vitro fertilization, euthanasia, and chronic non-terminal narcotic therapies.
However, we are proud to encourage our patients to make use of alternatives that we can offer and support:
At Credo Family Medicine we pledge to empower our patients with the most accurate information such that they can make the best decisions for their care so that they may have life – and have it abundantly!
Our practice
It is our belief that patients fare better when their care is continuously managed by the same healthcare team. At Credo Family Medicine, we operate as a cohesive healthcare team to optimize accessibility for our patients. Thus, when our patients become ill, they can be seen by any member of our team and still receive the same consistent, quality care.
